New Poker Site MaharajahClub.net Launched In India
The first online poker gaming site that is aimed at the Asian market in Europe and Southeast Asia, MaharajahClub.com, is set to launch a play-for-fun only gaming site in India Wednesday, Nov. 1. With the launch of its new MaharajahClub.net, Maharajah Gaming is expected to further establish itself in Asia, according to a company press release.
A focus on new markets is expected to be made by gaming companies with the passing of the new law in the US making online gambling illegal, and the Asian region is one of the most lucrative.
Through MaharajahClub.net, Maharajah Club will employ its strong cultural relevancy and group of experts to service the Asian market.
"This is the first time an online gaming company has targeted an audience based on ethnicity," CEO of Maharajah Gaming Sachin Pawa stated.
"It happens in land-based casino around the world. By targeting ethnically, we can cater to the culturally specific needs of our clients in a way that no other casino on the net can."
MaharajahClub.net's goal is to bring the fun side of poker to India. The game is expected to grow on the continent and by drawing in first-time poker players, teaching them how to play, and over-all make poker more popular to novice and seasoned players alike.
